Fort Lauderdale Florida, A city on the move and a destination on the rise.
20 Years of Transformation
Over the past 20 years, Fort Lauderdale has transformed. Today Fort Lauderdale is booming with developments, both on the beach and in the city's downtown. From new luxury Residential projects, to dining, culture and entertainment, Fort Lauderdale is becoming more and more comparable with Miami and Palm Beach.
*The Downtown Development Authority has initiated two projects – a new City/County government campus, and the redevelopment of a new Federal Courthouse.
*The new Brightline passenger train service from Miami to West Palm Beach connects the three major downtowns in southeastern Florida, and will ultimately connect Downtown FTL to Orlando and Tampa.
*The revival of Flagler Village, a growing neighborhood becoming the next destination for young people, an ideal place to live and work, within minutes to the beach, the Fort Lauderdale International airport, and I-95, The Flagler Arts and Technology District, (F.A.T. Village) and las Olas Boulevard.
